5 day sail start experience only £500 per person. Perfect opportunity to try sailing and experience life on board. During the trip you’ll get a feel for steering our yacht, handing sails and understanding how to work with the elements to reach locations only possible by sea. Opportunities to explore ashore, experienced local hospitality, hike and wild swim are built into the trip.

Outer Isles and St. Kilda
8th to 17th June 2026 - Prices from £1550pp.
Join skipper Dave Monro for a 10 day expedition through the Hebrides and beyond to St Kilda. Starting from Craobh Marina near Oban we will sail via Mull and Canna to Barra at the southern end of the Outer Hebrides from where we will make the passage to St Kilda. St. Kilda is the most westerly of our Atlantic islands and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its fascination lies in its remoteness, unique history and amazing bird populations. This trip is suitable for all experience levels and is graded as 'moderately challenging'. Come and be part of the crew. The passage to St Kilda is exposed but we will carefully pick the day for the passage. We will return through the sound of Harris, Uist and the west coast of Mull. We will visit stunning locations along the way with opportunities to explore, relax and experience Hebridean Hospitality.

Summer in the Hebrides

Join us for a 10 day trip from Craobh Marina. Experience the best sailing and exploring aboard 'Big Blue of Lorn'.
Sail north through the Sound of Mull to Rhum, Canna, and Skye before crossing the Sea of the Hebrides to Barra and the Outer Hebrides archipelago.
This trip is suitable for all experience levels, novices welcome.
Experience fantastic sailing with opportunities for widlife observation and immersion in the unique geology, history and hospitality of the Western Isles.
