Mull Wildlife Group

At an EGM on 24th February 2023, it was resolved that Mull Bird Club change its name to Mull Wildlife Group; reflecting the broader scope of its members' interests.

Mull Wildlife Group is a non profit making organisation open to all. Our aim is to advance the knowledge of the public in the study of wildlife in a social context. The original club (Mull Bird Club) was inaugurated by Alan Spellman, Len White and Peter Hall in 2001.

Regular meetings are held from September to April, usually in the Craignure Village Hall and there may be occasional meetings during the summer months. Several field trips usually take place each year both on and off the island. Notices advertising our meetings will be placed in “Round & About” and via e-mail to members, as well as this website.

The group is open to all ages and all individuals; visitors will be made very welcome. Join here.

Bird sightings on Mull
If you see an unusual or rare bird on Mull please let the Mull Bird Recorder have the details. You can e-mail him (see link on left) or visit his website at Mullbirds.co.uk. All records are passed on to Jim Dickson, the Bird Recorder for Argyll & Bute.
